Flying Whale Destroys School

The B.C. premier declared a state of emergency in the formerly peaceful town of Steele Harbour yesterday after the unprovoked and unprecedented attack on Harbour School which left few survivors. Reports are still sketchy but it seems a giant flying humpback whale, with wings instead of flippers, erupted out of the harbour at approximately 8:30 Tuesday morning. The worst possible time. With his mighty tail he crushed and smushed the school, and devoured several school buses whole before returning to the ocean. Only the Grade 7 Language Arts teacher, Miss Klassen, lived to tell the tale. “It was horrible, a tragedy,” she sobbed. “Definitely not a joking matter.” She then collapsed in shock. A funeral will be held for the victims on Saturday and the school will be rebuilt on Sunday, but will remain closed for the rest of the year. And probably for forever.
